San Fernando Valley Chapter, NSDARSan Fernando, California WelcomeThe San Fernando Valley Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), was organized on April 19, 1917, and became the forty-third chapter in California on October 25, 1918. Our chapter supports veterans at the Sepulveda Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital in North Hills, California, in numerous ways, including donations of bus tokens and drives for items most needed for our servicemen and women. The chapter has available the Catherine Hubbard Dace American History Memorial Award for an outstanding female graduating senior. We also work with local schools on the American History Essay Contest for students in the San Fernando Valley. In addition to our monthly meetings held January through June and September through November, our members and prospective members meet occasionally for day trips and carpool to State and District events and meetings. Please contact us for further information and join us for a meeting to get to know the many ladies of our chapter. Today’s DARSee what the DAR is doing today. Check out our channel on YouTube! |
