Welcome!
The San Marino Chapter was organized on November 29, 1929. Mrs. Edward Cheverton was the chapter's first regent. The chapter's name was chosen because of its location in San Marino. For additional information about San Marino, see Wikipedia or San Marino. Most members are from the San Marino area; however, some members are from other areas as well. Local residency is not a requirement for membership in any chapter.
Regular meetings of the chapter are held on the fourth Friday of each month, beginning in October, except for holidays and excluding December and May, unless otherwise ordered by the chapter or the Executive Board. If you would like to attend one of our meetings, please contact us.
We welcome any woman for membership who is over 18 years of age and who is descended from a man or woman who aided in achieving American Independence during the period between April 19, 1775, and November 26, 1783. Information on membership in the DAR can be found here.
Web hyperlinks to non-DAR sites are not the responsibility of the NSDAR, the state organizations, or individual DAR chapters.
