Welcome!

The Berkeley Hills-Oakland Chapter was organized on February 10, 1910. Our meetings include a Flag Minute, an Indian Minute, Washington-Rochambeau Minute, and a Lewis & Clark Minute.

The Berkeley Hills-Oakland Chapter meets on the first Saturday of each month, October through May, at noon. If you would like to attend one of our meetings, please contact us.

We welcome any woman for membership who is over 18 years of age and who is descended from a man or woman who aided in achieving American Independence during the period between April 19, 1775, and November 26, 1783. Prospective members please contact Lara Farnham as Chairperson of the Lineage Committee for assistance with your initial application papers. Completed papers are sent to the National Society DAR (NSDAR) for approval, linking you with your patriot(s). Information on membership in the DAR can be found here.
