Window displays in the community for Constitution Week and American History Month.
Conservation Seminars by a State Archivist.
Book of members' autobiographies and ancestors' biographies.
Entries in the Americanism Fourth of July Parade with a horse-drawn red wagon and red 1960 T-Bird carrying the Good Citizen and JAC winners.
Statue of Liberty Contest in the four Pacific Palisades elementary schools.
Conducted numerous Lineage Research workshops and tours in the five major Los Angeles libraries.
Annual museum tour, picnic, awards ceremony, and swim party for the top ten JROTC students at Garfield High School. For more than fifty consecutive years, Temescal Chapter has presented to the JROTC a medal and a flag that has flown over the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C.
Temescal Chapter has been awarded Gold Honor Roll (now Chapter Achievement Award) for 11 consecutive years.
For many years, Temescal Chapter has served and provided refreshments to veterans at the Wadsworth VA Medical Center Bingo parties.
For two years, Temescal Chapter participated in a Constitution Day Parade in Santa Monica with two other chapters.
Provided 4th of July “Uncle Sam” to the hospitalized veterans at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center.
Participated in the World War II Memorial Fund Raising.
Presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Lt. Gen. John M. Wright, Jr. – hero of Corregidor.
Participated in the 50th Anniversary of the Chosin Reservoir Campaign at Camp Pendleton, CA – Dec 7, 2000.
For many years several Temescal Chapter members have been volunteers at the Mormon Temple Family History Library in Los Angeles.
Shared a luncheon, with many invited guests, to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. (May 15, 1955)
For many years Temescal Chapter members have attended the "Massing of the Colors," celebrating George Washington's birthday, sponsored by the Sons of Liberty Chapter, NSSAR.
Temescal Chapter has received three awards from the Department of Veterans Affairs, for VAVS service.
