Welcome!

The Mount Diablo Chapter was organized on January 10, 1961, by 13 founding members.  Edna Draper was the chapter's first Regent.  The chapter was named for the area's predominant geographical site, Mt. Diablo.  Most members are from the local area; however, some members are from other areas, as well.  Local residency is not a requirement for membership in any chapter.

The Mount Diablo Chapter meets on the second Tuesday of each month, October through June, at 11:45 a.m.  In November, the chapter meets on the second Saturday, at 11:45 a.m., instead.  If you would like to attend one of our meetings, please contact us.

We welcome any woman for membership who is over 18 years of age and who is descended from a man or woman who aided in achieving American Independence during the period between April 19, 1775, and November 26, 1783.  For information on membership in the DAR, please click here.  Note: To return to the Mount Diablo Chapter web site, please click the back button on your browser.
