"Mitz-Khan-A-Khan" Chapter
Ventura County, California
Located on the coast
of California, Ventura is
about sixty (60) miles
north of Los Angeles, California.
Chapter History
Our Chapter was organized February 20,
1931. Our name,
Mitz-Khan-A-Khan was the name the
Chumash
Indians called our area.

We honor our charter members, all now
deceased.
They established the course to carry forth the goals and ideals for
which the Daughters of the American Revolution stand.
The record of chapter
accomplishments
has only been possible through the whole hearted efforts of
our
chapter officers, chairwomen, and members alike.
Chapter Motto
Let us merit the pride
of our forefathers
As they have merited our pride in them.
