- The El Palo Alto Chapter has approximately 55 members.
- There are usually 6 - 10 new members per year.
- The ages of our members range between 18 and 96 years old.
- To become a member of the DAR, one must be able to prove direct blood lineage between herself and a patriot who served in the Revolutionary War period of April 19, 1775, to November 26, 1783. The patriot had to serve in the Military Service, Civil Service, swear or affirm his or her allegiance to the U. S. Government of America, or provide service or materials to the cause and troops of the American Army. A member must be no less than 18 years of age.
