- The El Palo Alto Chapter NSDAR holds monthly meetings with special programs or speakers. Our programs cover the topics of National Defense, Patriotism, American Heritage, Education, and Conservation.
- Chapter members collect and disburse personal items of clothing and supplies to the men and women veterans at the Palo Alto and Menlo Park hospital facilities.
- The Chapter contributes funds to support our Indian schools and the National schools of the DAR.
- Genealogical workshops are held each month for the purpose of aiding and instructing members and prospective members in the technique of research.
- The Chapter sponsors scholarship awards to the elementary and senior high schools in the Palo Alto area. Fundraising projects and memorial donations provide the income for these scholarships.
- Observance and support of National holidays.
- DAR Library contributions.
