Endeavor
The National Society Daughters
of the American Revolution, known as NSDAR, was founded in
1890 and is an organization for women which is dedicated to service for the nation.
NSDAR has committees functioning
at the local, state, and national levels. Its objectives are:
To perpetuate the memory
and spirit of the men and women
who achieved American Independence
To promote, as an object
of primary importance, institutions for the general diffusion
of knowledge, thus developing an enlightened public opinion and
affording everyone such advantages to develop the largest capacity
for performing the duties of American citizens.
To foster true patriotism
and love of country, and to aid in securing for mankind all the
blessings of liberty.
