Welcome!

Members of the Captain Henry Sweetser Chapter DARThe Captain Henry Sweetser Chapter DAR was formed on October 15, 1966, and was named in honor of our Organizing Regent Marjorie Gunn Stoskopf's Revolutionary War ancestor.

We welcome any woman for membership who is over 18 years of age and who is descended from a man or woman who aided in achieving American Independence during the period between April 19, 1775, and November 26, 1783.  For information on membership in the DAR, please click here.  Note: To return to the Captain Henry Sweetser Chapter web site, please click the back button on your browser.

The main objectives of our chapter are to perpetuate the memory and spirit of the men and women who achieved American Independence, and to cherish, maintain, and extend American History, Education, and Patriotism.  Our meetings are held on the second Saturday of the month, September through June.  We would love to have you join us!
